My aim is to provide clients with a friendly, respectful, and supportive environment. I specialize in working with adolescents, college students, women, adults, and the LGBTQ community. I can provide individual and couples counseling.

I believe the therapeutic relationship is essential to the process of wellness and improving one’s life. It is through the therapeutic relationship, that people can improve their lives by gaining a better awareness and understanding of themselves. A part of my style is using a here and now approach. Conflicts in your life and relationships will likely emerge in the therapeutic relationship. Our process is collaborative, compassionate and deeply nonjudgmental. My work is rooted in social justice. I strive to be queer-affirming, trans-affirming, body-positive and culturally sensitive through a social justice and intersectional feminist lens. I am fluent in Spanish and can work with Spanish-speaking clients.

My approach combines relational, gestalt, feminist theory, attachment based, psychodynamic psychotherapy, insight-oriented, trauma informed and narrative based practices. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, grief and loss, illness, trauma, sexual abuse, existential concerns, adjustment issues, low self esteem, emerging adulthood, gender identity, LGBTQ issues, family issues, parenting issues, eating disorders, postpartum depression, and relationships.

As a speaker, educator, and consultant, I offer talks, workshops, trainings, and seminars covering a variety of mental health and wellness topics.
